How much will it cost me for a shop to install a plate kit to my carb. Here is what i have.
Full installation car has a msd 6al box and i have a msd multi retard box im going to have wired for the nitrous. I need it wired with a full throttle switch and wired to the transbrake, so when i let go of the trasbrake the nitrous kicks in. I am going to set everything up on the car i just want a shop to do all the wiring. What is the price range im looking at here. Anyone chime in here even shop owners.

Do it yourself. it's easy and sraightforward. Wiring it through a relay tripped by the transbrake switch is easy as well. You can add a digiset timer if you wnat to get out of the hole before the nitrous comes in...depends on how your car is set up and how well it hooks.

Have you tried the transbrake with the switch on top of your shifter? I tried that and didn't like it. Every time the light turned green and I let go of the transbrake switch, the sudden forward momentum of the car would cause me to shift into 2nd gear[:@]. I ended up mounting the transbrake switch on the steering wheel and operate it with my thumb. I also installed an in-line arm switch so i can prevent accidental engagement of the transbrake during street driving.

Just my opinion and experience. I may be able to dig up my wiring diagram if you want.

 

To do the complete install with the extra wiring, I'd say $150-200. For just the wiring, maybe $50. Most of this will depend on the area of the country you're in also. Things tend to be a little cheaper where I'm at.
