Default 2003 rear brakes

I just replaced the rear brakes on my 2003 mustang, I didnt realize they where such a hassle to change if you dont know how they work! anyway I eneded up opening the bleeders to turn the pistons in. ( I guess thats what they are called) well once I got all the brakes put back together I went to bleed them. they seem to not bleed properly. I had someone pump the brakes hold and opened the bleeder valve and just very little fluid came out every time. what gives with that? also I have a lot of play on the peddle when I step on it and it appears that the front brakes are the only ones grabing. what am I missing or doing wrong on this brake job? help! new to this site thank in advance for any help or insite!

You have a lot of air in the system now. You must bleed all of the brakes to get the air out. You start with the Right Rear then go to the Left Rear, then Right Front, then Left Front. It is best to use a clear piece of tubing when bleeding the brakes. If it was me, now would be the time to install Speed Bleeders in your calipers. This is the fastest way to bleed your brakes. You can get them at just about every auto parts store now.

Hope this helps
