ECM deletion?

ECM deletion?
Hey guys. Will I have to delete the ECM completly from my car to do my engine swap? 2.3L to 351W. I will have the 351W carbereted, but the tranny may be an electric one. Or can I keep it and still use it for other things? If I do have to delete it, is there a company out there that makes custom auto computers to run everything? I have tried to google this subject and found nothing. Thanks for you info.
