My brother just got done a couple days ago installing the SLP loudmouth exhaust on his 03 GT. The onlyy other mod he has is a K&N CAI. Let me be the first to say this beast sounds good. It's sounds better than straight pipes and reminds you of a 60's Mustang with the popping and backfiring growls it makes as you rev it up. It's the exhaust I'm buying next month for my car as well. Do any of you guys have SLP on your cars?

 

I have SLP and it rocks. The looks I get in that car are priceless. It reminds me of an old school hod rod.

 

just ordered slp exhaust for my formula.. saw a mineral(shadow) gray mach one today.... same color as my 02 was, that car was fine... i might have to get a mach... insurance is cheap on that in comparison to cobras...... slp is bad to the bone... love their exhaust..

 

I'm putting the SLP catback on my cobra later today along with a MRT h-pipe. I'll let you know how the install goes and how it sounds. It should be a lot different from the absolutely quiet stock exhaust.

 

I just had an MRT h-pipe and SLP catback installed on my '04 cobra. Calling it loud wouldn't do it justice. It sounds great when at idle and at part throttle but flooring it lets out some kind of hellish wale. I've had flows and dynomax on my '88 5.0 before but I've never heard anything like this. Don't get me wrong. I wanted loud and got it. But the only thing I could compare to this was when I went to the nascar race here in vegas. This car just sounds mean. Luckily, it's not my daily driver but when I want to scare someone on the street all I'll have to do is blip the throttle and give someone a heart attack.

 

Anyone have a sound clip of there stang with the LM. I am interested in comapring what it sounds like to the loudmouth on my LT1 just for the halibat

I know what they sound like on an LT1 and an LS1, I have one on my car. it;s mean as all get out. Nothing compares to it. I had a guy in a 99GT ask me what kind of headers I had, which I don't just have stock manifolds. I have to say (and this is rare for me so enjoy it) That the Mustangs have always had a better, cleaner, smoother sound then the 4th gen fbodys and I would really like to hear the Loudmouth on one.
