Default question about lowering my '02 GT

Hey guys... I have a '02 GT that I want to lower a little to give it a sportier look but I have long tube headers and Im not sure how low I can take it with out them scrubbing when hitting dips in the road, speed bumps, railroad tracks and all your other typical obstacles of the road. How far can I lower it with out worrying about hurting the headers or the bassani Xpipe? Thanks alot for any info and Im sorry if you guys answered questions like this twenty times a day.

I just lowered my '02 close to 1.5" and Ive got the same headers as you. Only drove it once about 5 miles since lowering it but I didnt notice anything, and if I was gonna scrub I woulda on my driveway. Now I havent hit any speedbumps yet but it looks good to me. We shall see though.

Could always go with the motorsport springs, they're a 7/8's in the front and 1/2" in the rear I believe.

That would still give it a good low stance look?
