Default Tire sizing?

I am looking to replace the front tires on my 90, which has 225/60-15s on the rear. I was wondering if there would be anything wrong with putting 215/70s up front. I have an idea of the sizing numbers, but am not exactly sure, so would the 215/70 have the same outer diameter as the 225/60s? Also, should there be any problem fitting the smaller tires on the wheels?

thanks
Nick

Default RE: Tire sizing?

hey click on the link. it will help you with the tire sizing and how to match the front tire with the rear tires. that way you don't get tires that are too out of wack. hope it helps.
