how low can i lower my car without tires hitten the wheel well and what companys make the springs

 

I had the same question about mine but Im more worried about my headers and X pipe rubbing. No one seemed to know.

 

my 98 had steeda springs i thought it was 1 3/4 drop i had 275/40/17 and 255/40/17,and i had no rub,but my h-pipe dragged bad it was a hypertech though. the bassani,bbk,and mac's are more snug if you know what i'm saying.

 

you can do eibach sportlines.... on the 99 + GT's they lower them 2 inches in front and 1.8 in the back, REALLY NICE... thats why i have them

 

well my headers are about 4 maybe 5 inches off the ground and I dont want to lower it so far that dips in the road, railroad tracks, speed bumps, illegal immigrants and other common obstacles of the roads interfers with them. Thats a lot of money under there. lol. Someone please tell me how far I can go! [X(]

 

if u have LT headers, and you want to drop your car for looks, you might as well not drop it because you cant drop it very much regardless..... if you want to drop it so it handles better, then you can probably pull off around 1 inch...

cool... I was told about 1 1/2 was about as far as I could go. I think thats what Im gonna do.

 

3inch drop? i dont think there is such a drop, unless you get an adjustable coilover kit or that airbag suspesnion set up

 

how much can i go with just spring and do i need anything else with them
