Ok, I have a 89 GT with a factory sunroof (yeah, kinda sucks). The latch for the sunroof is destroyed. I've checked random parts stores and 50resto and I can't seem to find any parts. Does any one know of any place that has any parts (other than a junkyard). Any advise would be great. Thanks.

Might wanna try Mustangs Unlimited. I am surprized 50resto didn't have it. As far as a junk yard GL finding one that has a factory sunroof in it. I would keep an eye out on ebay. But i have been told that HERE is another good place to look for stuff.

I didn't know Stangs were offered with factory sunroofs in '89?

 

Sunroof, moonroof, what have you. No electronic motor. Just a handle that pivots down from the roof. Terrible design and I wish I could've found a different one but whatever. Mustangs unlimited, to my knowledge, only had the bezel or cover for the part that bolts to the roof. I've been eyeing ebay for a few weeks but no luck with that. Mustangs from at least 89 to 93 come with a factory sunroof/moonroof (to the best of my knowledge).
