Putting the lower control arms on will take about an hour, welding the subframe connectors on will take about 15 minutes. Add the time to get the car on the lift and the rear-end jack up - total job in less than 2 hours - and thats will an avg mechanic. Some guys can probably do the whole deal in an hour. I don't see the install costing more that 150 - 200 bucks. Anything more than that and your should shop around.

subframes are goiing to take more than 15 minutes! and the control arms will take longer than aan hour, nothing rarely goes perfectly smooth when it comes to mechanicing (is that a word?), welding right takes a while to do, thats a little high on price though, i would check around a little

Hey gt99gt, nice list of mods!! I was thinking about getting those SF connectors also, I just wanted to know how diferent your car feels? how would you describe your car's handling after/before those mods?? My car's suspension is 100% stock, I was thinking of getting eibach pro springs+ SF connectors + front strutbar.. I dont race my car either I just wanted better handling and I cant spend a lot of money... thanks for your help!!

2 mins to get car on the lift and in air, 3 mins taking off the paint around where the subframes are gonna get welded, 2 mins to tack them both on, and 5 mins to bead them all up. I counted 12 mins there. Thats all it took me and a friend. As for the control arms, I did those at home on the garage floor. Took about an hour and a half - but that was on the floor and having to remove the mufflers (magnaflows didn't allow room to get off the chassis side of the upper control arms). If it werent for that it woulda taken an hour flat to do the springs and control arms.

Im sure a mechanic doing it for a living coulda done it faster than me.

with all the mods i hace done, my car handles about 1000000 times better than stock. to describe before and after, before=joke and after = a new car. its an entirely new car handling wise. to do all my mods is costed me about 1500-1800. if u dont have that kind of money, id do the shocks/ struts, springs and subframe connectors... if u have a few extra bucks u can then get the sway bars or strut tower brace and control arms...
