Default v6->v8 Swap

I have a 1983 Ford Mustang (convertible). It currently has a 3.8l v6 in it. What will I have to modify/replace if I plan to switch to a v8? Thanks ahead for any info.

In short, a ton of stuff. Besides the engine & all accessory systems to it you will also have to swap the transmission, cooling system, front springs to account for the added weight, etc..

Just what my stepfather told me, which is why I am now going to stay with the v6 and mod that sucker out.

Thanks!

if you ever decided to swap i would leave the springs that you have already lowers the front of the car i like how they look like that and most people with foxes that i know actually will order 4cyl springs for their front ends to lower them
