oh boy. another one of these guys......

Ronny boy, give it up already. For 7500 I can build a budget stroker with heads. Put in gears and load it up with NOS and still have money left to buy stuff to give me better traction. Even if you can get into the 11's on 7500 (which I seriously don't think you will), I will still be faster. It isn't all about the power you know (which we have more), its also got to do with traction (which we have more) and weight (which we can easily reduce). When you are busy trying to get past the 12.0 second wall you will hit (meaning thousands must be spent), we are still only closing in on our potential.

Exactly... And the same point can be made for almost any <GULP> (swallowing pride) american v-8. (The reason for almost... Yamaha/Ford V-8 in the Taurus SHO.... no real aftermarket).

oh come come now ...... what is with these ricers???!!! --- for 7.5 - 9k you can get a brand spanking new, blueprinted, tested 700-800 engine from "The Engine Factory", and with the sell of ur old engine you can get the proper suspension and tires to hook.....and probably enough to get some Nitrous.......now tell me thats a stang with all that is NOT a 10 second car......--- on a honda you'll need a helluva lot more $$ to get that little ricer to get into the 10s. --(I'll reserve all other remaks on ricers)..... ---

Well, I think it's been said enough, but I'll say it again. What is it with these guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm getting so sick of reading crap from them! Why would anyone in their right mind think they can turn 10-11 sec passes with 10k in a FWD honda!?!?!?! First of all, a 4 banger is naturally going to cost more to get the power out of them cuz they're so tiny. Honda performance can only go so far...

Hypothetically, you can put a honda on the moon, but how much is it going to cost? Go to the "sport compact" section of the summit catalog and see what the price is for 1 header, or 1 cam. You get done with that honda and for the same money I got a monster stroker in my mustang that will eat your lunch. Face it, those things were built to sip gas. Buy a real car.
