I traded my 01 Ram-Air 5.7 liter 325hp Trans-Am in on an 03 Cobra. The 04 GTO is 340hp but the body style sucks. The should have kept the Trans-Am.

New GTO=Trans Am chassis under Cavalier body. Nobody here buy one! Looks bad, Might as well have stayed Trans Am, and it's nothing like the real GTO. Ford knows how to keep it retro...GM messed up. There's my nickel...i'll need 3 cents change.

StangLover,

I just went to a few sites re: the GTO and saw it for the first time. -- I'm not really taken by it, just looks like a the Grand Prix's little brother or something. I like the interior, especially the seats. I was unable to find, HP vs Weight on it. I saw it in red, yellow and some other colour...it's ok I guess, but didn't do anything for me. It's just a preference thing though, you know, different strokes for different folks.

Dont you think its more like the big brother? From the pictures I seen it does look a lot like a grand prix but when you see it in person it looks A LOT better.

From what I've herd they have 367 RWHP. That was from GMHP magazine. I think this car should be good compition for the new cobra.

from the pics it looks like the GP's little brother, I guess it's all relative. But from the HP, it sounds like it's Mother-in-law!!! haha!

Ok, it can perform...but they:

1. Didn't keep it retro (Mind you they didn't even make it unique!)

2. Dropped a good car (Trans Am) to make room for it

3. Probably will be charging a ton

4. Will probably weigh a couple of tons (Probably the only thing similar to the real Goats)

5. DIDN'T KEEP IT RETRO! (Irespect Ford for bringing back theclassicto the Mustang despite the huge price tags rumored)
