Im looking to get an engine for a sn95 cobra, will these engines fit? Im kinda lost cuz i dont know if a 5.8L would fit in there. Any advice would be nice and RELIABE GOOD QUALITY engine sites are recommened. Thanks

 

I think it depends on how much you're willing to spend. An SN95 Cobra engine would be pretty sweet and you know it's going to fit. The 351 is a great engine but I doubt it's going to fit. 302 is always a good reliable choice for someone on a budget.

it is ilegal to swap in an engine made prior to the year of the car. The last car to ever get a 351 was a 1999 Saleen. he has a 2000...

DUde you can put damn near any engine in anything. Heres some more engine suggestions - 289, 390, 427, 428, 429, 460, 7.5L duramax diesel TURBO!!!!!

The mod that was in your Stang is the largest gas engine (physically) that Ford has made. Even a 385 series big block will fit, even though the hood may have some issues...

If you got the coin, go for a 514 stroker with custom fuel injection.

 

um, the EPA uses Califonia smog laws as the FEDERAL LAW...so DON'T GET CAUGHT!

 

um 4.6L 4V 2.2L supercharged 03/04 cobra engine


or just go with the 5.0

it may have one of the lowest hp ratings on that list, but they can be built up really cheaply. 4.6's pack more power but cost more to buy and more to mod.
