Default Fox Tire Width

There any way possible you could go a wider tire than 245 on a fox?
I know the shock is in the way, but anyway around this somehow?

front or rear? I've heard that 275 was the widest you could go out back, but after looking at my rear shocks while the axle was fully articulated I could see that the 245's had been rubbing every now and again.

Different wheel offset or spacers would help

putting spacers on ur wheels changes where the load is put on the wheel, so it isnt the best thing to do (at least thats what they said on PHRTV)

flip the quad shock around this will give you about an inch

I use 275-50-15's

you can get a 11.5" tire in there with a tlc

I'll have to try that, flipping the shock around. I think the tire was banging both shocks though. Oh well. a 1/4" spacer won't hurt anything, just make sure your studs are long enough to get decent # of threads engaged. I'm not a fan of spacers myself, but you gotta do what you've gotta do.

You dont need Quad shocks if you get Control Arms?

then i could run my 285/40/17's right?
