CAR WITHOUT KEYS AND HIT IN FRONT
Hi All,
I am new on forum. I am Grega from Slovenia, country near Italy and I just bought ´01 Mustang GT hit in front from insurance company in Texas. And now I need some help.
Car will be loaded into container in port of Houston, TX in approximately 2 weeks. Till then I must solve next problems:
1. Car is without keys. Can anyone tell me how I can get new key?
Is it possible that transport company deliver car to ford dealership in Houston and they make new chip keys. Can anyone tell me for dealership which do that (web address please), and what is cost?
2.Car is hit in front. Now I must also buy in 2 weeks all parts for car. Because I don´t know terms of parts, I would beg if someone list them to me, that I will be know what to search and to buy (I know for fenders, lights and bumper). Airbags are not deployed.
Also I like to ask you if anyone know any auto shop/junkyard where can I bought this parts new or used (web address please) in Houston, TX, for not too high price?
Thank you for any help.

Headlights, foglights, bumper, fenders, hood... Looks like a puddle of coolant below it so you're going to want to invest in a new radiator. The ABS module is mounted up front too, see if it has gone bad from the impact (can't imagine it would have if the airbags didn't deploy). Battery is also mounted up front, be sure it's still ok after the shock of the crash.
Any dealership can make you new keys. New, uncut PATS keys are not cheap though, I couldn't be sure on the price of them... (I -want- to say $120 USD a piece), you'll need two, and they will get you for 1 hour's labor ($65-80 USD).
Other than that stuff it looks to be in alright shape. Be sure the frame is straight (IMPORTANT!), also, when you get it, ensure the steering and front suspension goodies are all in order... you'll have to fix things as you find them. Since the airbags didn't deploy the crash couldn't have been all that bad, but you never know.

ya i think basically everything has been mentioned above. i think it would have been a better idea to buy a car that hasnt been wrecked since it will be hard and expensive for you to have them sent to you
