Default Squealing sound

I just got a 97 V6, and this morning some Squealing sound started coming from the engine. It sounds like it might be a belt, but I want to see if there is anything else I should be looking out for. Thanks.

probably the belt or a bearing. They make some spray you can put on your belt to help it not squeek, your you could do the ole' bar of soap action on it.

Could be that or maybe something like your water pump pulley. Does it go away after the car warms up?

I am thinking youre belt has a little slack in it, I would just inspect the belt it would have a worn spot on it, If not I would inspect youre water pump.

I tried the spray, and I dont find any slack in the belt. It's a pretty loud squealing, but yes, it stops after it warms up. I'll check the water pump thing. I just need to find it first.
