Default transmissions

i just bought a 86 Stang, thats had a 5.0 swaped into it and i've been scouring the internet for information on my transmission a B/W 13-52-066-919 five speen manual, i was going to swap fluids in it but it tasted like automatic tranny fluid not regular gear oil what gives. any help here please i need to know what kind of fluid to put in this thing

86 body new 5.0, little stroker bored .60 over, hooned out, MSD, Holly carb, off road H pipe, cut the computer out, Edlebrock Cam/lifters, locker in the back 8.8... man i love this car, i love the look on the tunner cars guys face when he eats burnt rubber
