Default Hood Lift Kit

I just ordered a hood lift kit from Redline tuning.
Anyone have one of these on their stang?
Let me know how easy the install was.

a hood lift kit is to where the hood can open and you don't have to use a support bar or whatever you call it. its hard to explain but go here i think this is where he bought his. http://redlinetuning.com/products_quicklift.html see if that helps. later,

They're struts that hold the hood up, so you don't have to use the stupid prop rod that apparently Ford thinks is acceptable on a $30,000 Mustang.

It's a kit that was put on my '67 Mustang 40 years ago but Ford failed to put on the current 'Stangs because they are cheap and find entertainment in causing their cars to lack quality. Flame suit on

its like the shocks that push a hatch up or like a door on a minivan, just for your hood

I don't like the $70 price tag but that would be a cool mod to do.. Hell, were all freaks about keeping our cars clean and oil changed.. That would be nice not to have to used that stupid prop bar..

The install was very easy.
Be very careful drilling into the hood, as it might dent the top of the hood.
The only problem I had was putting 1 end of the shock on (the "C" clip came off and the shock would not go on).
I love it.
Definately would do it again...
