What mufflers from flow master offer the best most HP ioncrease? is there any thing that adds more HP then flowmaster , like magnaflow? Iam looking to get new mufflers and tips, i guess ill keep my H pipe on my 1997 4.6L

Better go with magnaflows then. They are non baffeled when flowmasters have baffeled restrictions. Flows sound great but they dont perform as good in any way.

MAGS sound awsome also!

Hmmm , well what seris is good from Maganaflow, i really dont anything about Magnaflow. IAm looking to speend 250 bucks on exhuast upgrades.

 

gonna need a lil more than that unless you are just gonna get mufflers. with magnaflows you have the option of magnapack or regular magnaflow. magnapack just gives a louder sound. www.magnaflow.com

 

i was planning on buying the mufflers then having the muffler shop make me pipes and have them do the cat back rather then buy an expensive cat back from magnaflow.

 

The reason the cat-back system is more expensive is because the kit is stainless steel and mandrel bent. You'd be better off just getting some flows and welding them in place of your stock mufflers if you don't want to do the cat-back from them.
