exhaust hitting?

in drive i get a rough idle, and a lil inconsistent knock, in reverse, the idle is perfect, and no knock. any clues?

cuz when i let my car rev real low my cai knocks a little against the inner fender wall

no its an auto. when i lift on the exhaust (midpipe) i can shift the tranny left and right about an inch. tranny mount?

Well idk then...it could be but i think that you would feel more of a jerk when accelerating if the mounts were busted
