well to start off i just got the car lol, well everything is fine with it, but the heater core i think is leting go, i can see fumes a little come out of the vents, i can bypass it and it will be fine right, won't hurt engine i just won't have heat

 

It will be fine. Just pull off the supply and return hoses that go to the heater core and connect them together. Easy task.
