Default Nittos or BfG's?

I'm looking to get a drag radial before I get to the track FINALLY this year. I either want to get the g-Forc DR T/A or the NT 555 R. Who's ran either one or both and how'd you like 'em?

Thanks.

wow.. thats a sharp looking '86 man.. i like that thing ALOT!

if youve got an extra set of wheels,, i recommend MT's,

but if they are going on your DD, theres nothing wrong with BFG's, since you'll have more power than you want for a pair of nittos

I can probably get the tires at cost or so...but I'll most likely be putting them on some ten holes, not sure yet.

The ol' King Cobra clutch is smelling already and I just put that in with the engine this spring. I tried a second gear launch on the street with the Kuhmos I have now and it slipped bad. I also have lakewood drag shocks and HPM Mega Bite Jr.s. Hopefully it'll hold up at least a couple runs this year with some DRs...

So the Bfgs will hook better?

I've never run the BFGs, but from everything ive heard the Nittos make a much better street tire. I have no complaints about mine thus far.

Nittos are an ok street tire but when you start making more power you see thier short commings.

I have Nittos and they have about 10k on them. The BFG's won't last as long but they will stick better.
