Default how modable is my car?

i have a 3.9l v6 4 speed automatic 2004 40th aniversiry mustang, i am not really that knowledgable about cars(yet) and i was wondering how modable my car is for to get fast?

i am pretty much thinking that i am SOL unless i am mistaken..

I am just wondering, sorry for such a dumb question.

Dude, don't give up hope on your ride.

REALLY, the only thing you could do is S/C it. I guess you will decide how "mechanically inclined" you are.

Word from the wise...Don't waste all your money on petty mods.

Your car is very "modable"! Before dropping in a S/C, make sure you don't want to just wait and do and engine swap with a bit more money. But hey, the car is as fast as your wallet is fat!

Do supporting mods(CAI, headers, catback) and then some spray with all the safety precautions is your best bet...down the road cams wouldn't hurt either. The bolt-ons you can do yourself but you'll need help with the spray/cams. Also put some lower gears in the rear like 4.10's...your gas milege will take a turd but who cares, a 3500ish stall wouldn't hurt either. So do the bolt-ons, gears, stall, spray(dyno tune it so you don't gernade the motor)...and cams later on. Or just sell it and get a GT w/bolt-ons and cams

funny how 03yellowpony had 4.10s in his 6er and got better milage then my stocker, a 3500ish stall would be a bit to much for DD, dont trade it in on a GT or a motor swap unless you just want to go somewhat fast right out of the factory cause 2V motors suck for mods
