RE: t-5 question
What year is the transmission? That will play a big role in it
I'm running Mercon Dexron 3 auto trans fluid in mine.

RE: t-5 question
I'd recommend Mercer-Dextron automotive transmission fluid. A synthetic Mercer-Dextron fluid is available, too. Doesn't the T-5 take 3.7 quarts?

RE: t-5 question
well, you need to know if it's worldclass or not. if it is, then run mercon dexron III if not, run gear oil.

RE: t-5 question
I used the Motorcraft synthetic manual trans fluid in my T5 when i installed it. I was told you need 3 quarts. It is a T5Z off I think a 91 or 92 5.0
