Default What is this part?

Help please. .. My son has a 1983 Mustang convertible 6cyl auto. I am having trouble helping him replace some of the broken parts. Original Part Number E3AE-9B982-A1A. It is broken and I don't know what it is to replace it. It has vacuum lines comming in from the carb, and out to somewhere else, and has hot and ground wires attached. Can anyone help?? I have a photo but haven't learned to upload it yet. Thanks

2. Randy Stinchcomb (Liberty Ford) @ 410-655-2000 Ext. 5618, Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm Eastern Time.
