Default Cobra 2?

My friend down the street has a Cobra 2...All I know about it is that it has been sitting for a while, the paint needs work, the body and everything else are in good condition. I have been unable to find anything about it(Tried google etc). Is it a form of mustang? I mistaked it at first but I know it is a cobra 2 now. What year were they made? How much is it worth? Where can i find more info about it? Thanks for all you help. Ben

well, what does it look like?
I've never heard of one.

Unless it was some kinda spinoff of the Mustang 2

Yeah, saw one on speed TV. It was the cobra version of the Mustang II.

The cobra II was from either '77 or '78 and it, along with every other mustang from '74-'78, is a total piece of crap. The cobra II had the HO 302 4bbl carb and I think HP was rated around 150-160 or so. Ugly as sin and not very collectible.
