Why doesnt my 03 ford focus zx3 have a redling on the tach?

All engines have a redline. Trust me your Focus will blow up if taken to a HIGH rpm & kept there, not sure why Ford wouldn't have indicated what the redline is....

My cousin's old Focus had a 7k rpm tach im pretty sure. there wasnt a redline either. It will go all the way to 7. Im sure the motor has a rev limiter and you'll kno when u hit it. you best bet is if your beating on it, shift around 6500.

I used to have a zx3- can't remember where the redline is, but sit in the driveway and rev it up, look at where the limiter kicks in and start shifting just before that.
