Default Changing Turn Light Bulb

This is probably a dumb question, but im new to car maintenance.

I have a 2000 V6. My rear turn light is out. The manual says take the car to a dealer to have them changed. When I look in the trunk, I dont see how I can get to it. Does anyone know of a link to instructions so i can do it myself?

thanks

Remove the plastic retainers that hold in your cargo net

Pull back carpet

Remove 4 11mm nuts from tail light

Pull light out

Change bulb

Reverse the procedure to install.

Look for the 4 nuts, loosen them.

I'm suprised that you can't get the tail lights from a store. They SHOULD have those.. the fog lights you could probably get from Ford, or online.. if the store can't order them for you.

i got replacement tail ligts from autozone. i think they even had em at walmart. the tails are really eazy to take off and its not really a pain. you take off the plastic cover around the trunk latch then remove the 2 plastic screw on pins that hold the rear carpet thing on then take that out then you can just kinda bend the carpet on the side of the trunk that you are working on back and you can see..dont remember...like 5 bolts. unscrew and pull ur taillight out. done it many times.
