air filter

will a K&N filter from a 99-04 V6 fit on a 99-04 GT? looking at them, the gt's just looks taller. anyone know if it would fit?

the part number form k&n for the GT is E-0945, the part number for the 6 cyl is E-0940, they are different lengths the GT will work on the V6 but not vice versa.

damn, so the one i got.... E-0940 wont fit in someones gt? i thought mine was the shorter one.

i dont have the gt to try it on. i was gonna trade a guy from here his fogs for my filter.
