ya, you can make a V6 sound, perform, whatever like a V8. or, you can just buy a V8 in the first place!!

In order to make a V6 sound or perform anything like a GT you would have to sink more money in it than its worth. You would be better off buying a V8 in the first place.

If you want to get a good start on getting your 3.8 to perform like a GT get a Diablo Delta Chip or the Predator program. Both would be a good combination. I have the chip and it has made a big difference in performance.

i don't think you'd be able to get the sound of a v8, after all it's a v6, but i certainly believe you could get to GT performance with chips, exhaust, intake and pullies. not a whole lot of money, maybe $1500-$1800 ?

I'm a living experience... I recomend that if anyone is trying to make their v6 into a v8 your better off buying a v8 --- too much money, I did it myself - I use to have a 00 v6, my idea was to make it as fast as a v8 but when I go it to be as fast as a v8 I had put in so many mods and so much money - it sure looked like a v8, it almost sounded like one but it was not a v8 - I would race v8's all the time, when we both took off we were even, but once 3rd gear kicked they were gone - my hp on my v6 was almost as high as a v8 but in torque I was way below a GT.

I thought about it after, and came to the conclution that I can make it as fast as a GT but once I get there a reall GT can add a few mods more and that will kill everything I did to the v6 to make it a v8, can't compete.

What I end up doing was trading my v6, not for a GT, but for a Cobra - that way I was going to try to do the same, and now try to make the GT into a Cobra.

heres a pic of my 00 v6 --- looks sharp but it took alot to make it what it was, I shouldof got a GT to start, damn!!!
