Default N00B here, headlight lens question..

This has probably been answered somewhere, but I have a question. I have a 98 stang, no problems, original everything except tires and air filter (still have same battery, same headlights). My question has to deal with the lens on the headlights. The seem to be slowly fogging over or getting glazed over on the inside with something, some sort of film, thus dimming the headlights tremendously. Is there a way to get rid of that crap, or will i have to replace the lenses. If I do, where can I find a replacement and what would you all recommend. Thanks in advance!

Well if it's on the inside you can try taking them out and filling them with soapy water and see if that helps clear it up. I personally just replaced my headlights becuase they were all scratched on the outside. I went through a Ford dealership, but you can also get them online and Ebay for a reasonable price.
