what would be the better way to go for a 4.6L 96' cobra, a turbocharger or a supercharger and also what company makes the best of either

 

Modulars love turbos, but they are expensive as hell. Lots of diff turbo kits out there, look back in the SVT posts for the site/ has a twin turbo kit for the 96-98 w/ like 2 T4/T3 (bigger housing smaller turbos) and everything you need for like $6800, should give you like over the 450 rwhp mark. If you are going to super go w/ Procharger or KB, cost around $4000

 

a lil over 6k for a turbo kit from www.turbochargedpower.com, and the turbo alone, with your stock motor, will do over 500rwhp.
