Default Sprint 200 info

I found a 66 Sprint 200 in Okinawa Japan. It has an Identiplate on the dash stating that it was designed specifically for a person. The emblem has a Ford Mustang monogram on the left side. Was this common practice and how valuable is the car? It is in good shape with everything but the mirrors intact.

Default RE: Sprint 200 info

They were created to keep Mustangs on the showroom floor in the mid 60's to keep production from slowing. Not really worth too much, the beauty is in the beholder.

Ford couldn't produce V8's quick enough to do so, so they slapped in the 200 6 banger.
