what happens if i mess up the firing order??

Never seen it in a modern motor onlt ones with distributors and carb.

On a motor with didtributor and a carburato it can cause all kinds of popping, firing thru the carburetor, farting and snorting. Also mis firing, running backwards , you name it

 

You won't be able to do a burnout or slide corners well. My friends mustang was wired wrong & he came to me asking what the problem was. I looked &... I found the mistake, it wasn't a bad mistake, but one none the less. He had the non H.O. firing order in mind when wiring it. I rewired it. Then he went & layed some rubber in front of his house. (for the first time)

 

You will eventually (sooner rather than later) frog up your engine. NOT A GOOD THING!

 

Just curious why you asked. Is your motor running badly?
