Default Tire size question

Since I'm not getting any replies in the 5.0 section, I thought I'd ask here.

What is the difference in height going to be going from a stock 225/55/16 tire to a 245/45 or 50/16?

245/50-16 will be the correct size, 245/45-16 will be 4.1% too fast, which is way too small of a tire.

hey your stock tire is 25.8 inch tall and about 9.3-9.5 wide. The best way to go would be the 245-50-16 its only 25.7 inches tall and 10.inches wide so it would look a lot better...and give more surface to the ground for traction...

225/50/16 should be 25.74 inches tall

245/45/16 should be 24.68 inches tall
245/50/16 should be 25.64 inches tall

so the 245/50 is closest to your oem size

those are the mathematical measurements, tire brand can cause a good amount of variation to those numbers
