Hey guys, I just got my 06' GT and im trying to figure out what I should do to it first. I hear CAI + Tune is a popular first mod, and im wondering which one would be best, and how much it would cost? Any help would be appreciated.

 

Doing both of them at the same time would be best. You optimize the CAI power with the tune you put into it. You'r looking at more-or-less $550 for both. Go look around the 05-07 section for more specifics and opinions on specific CAI and tuner brands as well as tons of other great info.

gears, then when your tires get bald get some sticky DRs

as for the gears, do a search, there is a LOT of info on the site, i would go with 4.10s

 

Ive already had gears put in em, they are 3.73s and Im running on Nitto 555s. I want to make my car more powerful, but this isnt just a drag car, its also a daily driver.

 

Get the CAI + Tune and you will LOVE it. C & L + SCT Xcal 2 from Brenspeed is the way to go. You will be very pleased with the results. Maybe a short shifter? I just installed a Steeda Tri-Ax and I like it a lot.
