I went to home depot only to find that no one knew what a 1" nylon spacer was nor did they carry any in any department. I was wondering if anyone knew somewhere I could order it on the internet? Someone wanna try this mod with me, visit their home depot and give me a part #? Anyone done it and have a part # or a place to get it?

hmm ive noticed that slack but never thought i might not be getting wide open throttle. ill have to look into this. i dont think you have to follow those directions to the letter if your just a little creative

 

yeah, I just did mine with stuff I found around the house. I used a rubber cylinder thingy and used my dremel to cut a slit in it so i could get the cable through and wraped a zip-tie around it to hold it together. Works like a charm.

 

Did you notice anything other than pedal placement?

 

Well... im sure that im getting more WOT when I have my foot to the floor, but with everyday driving its not really any change.

 

Yes. Now that your pedal is still an inch from the floor in the WOT position, you might snap the throttle cable in the excitement of smoking that Honda.
