Default Altering the interior

I recently bought an 88 Mustang 5.0 convertable that was orginially an LX but has been converted to a GT. I've slowely been getting the things fixed that the dumbass who made all the changes did wrong. My currenly project is very simple...puttng new weather stripping on the doors. While I was doing that I decided to see if I can get the panel off and see if the window is on the track correctly...but I can't get the panel off. Does anyone know how I might go about doing that? Any help is appreciated.

Default RE: Altering the interior

My 89 panels come off by removing 2 armrest
plugs, 2 large screws, 2 small screws on armrest.
Remove door opener 1 screw. Use putty knife stiff and slide
knife to the side of each door plug. A sharp pry up will
pop the plug. remove speaker screw. lift up door panel
to clear the window trim.
Holding panel off door unplug the electric controls to
the armrest.

Clean all wire connectors and the ground terminal to the
window motor.

How does taking the door panels get you to adding weatherstripping?

I guess I forgot to add that. I was looking at how to do the weather stripping when I started to wonder if the window is on the track correctly since they dont' seem to go up all the way and are all slanted and everything so I started to try and take off teh panel but I got so far then couldn't figure out how to take it off all the way. I'll try those things, thanks for the help
