Default I-6 Engine Swap

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum.
I'm currently about to take on a project of swapping an engine from a 67 Mustang to a 68 Falcon. Both are almost identical straight 6's. The tranny in the Falcon is a 4 speed manual. The tranny in the mustang is a 3 speed automatic. Other than that they're identical. Does anyone have any pointers, tips, or just stories they would like to share with me.

You might want to ask this question in the Classic section most of the people that hang out in here are the 5.0 and 4.6 guys. And most of us don't know alot about the older cars so your question will not get answered
Good luck with the swap. Just out of curiosity why are you sticking with the 6cyl. Seems like you could shove a 289 or a nice 302 crate motor in there for the same amount of effort

Thanx for the tip man. I like the I-6, it's a great, solid engine. It's easy to work on &...have you seen gas prices nowdays?
