I've been browsing here for a few months and it's been very educational. I can't seem to find the information I'm looking for in regards to tire sizes though. I own a 2003 stock GT with the standard Bullit wheels. I'm about to buy new tires for it and would like to go up in size, but I"m not interested in buying new wheels. Could I simply place 275/40 tires on the stock rims? If they will fit at all do they perform well considering the wheels are a little narrower than what seems to be recommended for them? I understand they're close enough in circumference not to require a speedo recalibration. Any help is appreciated!
