Default ignition system

Hey guys. How do I know that all eight spark plugs are igniting and not just seven?

Is there such a test?
So, if I took my car to a garage, how would those guys go about finding out?

thanks,

ronnie

Yeah they'll hook it up and tell you if it's got a miss.

One way I did it in my shop, worked esp well on headers, I had an infared thermometer would point it to the exhaust ports and see which one is colder. Another way is to use a good set of wire pullers and pull and replac the wires in succession untill it does not make a diff and there is youre problem

You can get a tester cheap from harbor freighy that hooks inline. it is clear and you can SEE the spark jumping-or not, in your case! It will not find a bad plug, but everything befor it. Good luck, misses suck sometimes.

Well, since you don't have wires, they'll just look at the plugs, or disconnect the coil packs one at a time. Looking at a plug is probably the easiest way. A misfiring plug will be black.
