Stock for stock....Why do Mustangs sound so much better than Corvettes and I guess Camaros...Not sure about the Camaros cuz' all I ever see is the 3.8's. But why do the stangs sound so much better? I cant hear Corvettes..........

 

alot of people with chev's dont put exhaust mufflers on them right away,

 

YOU CAN ALWAYS TELL A STANG..FOR A DISTANCE....

 

Mustangs mostly sound the way they do because of the firing order and that they have true duals that are routed evenly on both sides.

 

Stock for stock....I guess I should have said that in the first statement....lol oops.

 

me personally hate the sound of the gm 5.7 god they sound awful. always love the sound of a 5.0 and the 4.6 i had a 2000 gt and it had stock exhaust and it sounder nice cause the mufflers broke in.

 

Dunno, but a vette with a bassani cat back doesnt sound too bad.

Think that was the exhaust I heard.
Sounded really good actually.

 

Y-pipe exhaust systems sound terrible. They have to run no muffler or go duals for it to sound good.

Late model Mustangs sound so sweet because of the SOHC/DOHC heads and true dual exhaust.

 

BECAUSE ITS A MUSTANG !!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

stock for stock a dohc 4.6 sounds the best
