Default Engine Swap

what would be a estimation of how much money a speed shop would charge to have them take out my old engine and put in a new one ?

$1500.00 min at a speed shop. $800.00 at a regular shop, no motor or tuning costs.

ide guess around $1200. its not worth it. either do it yourself, or dont do it at all.

Nomo your right , but Im not educated in engines enough to do that. I dont know anyone else around here who could either. so I will have to fork over the money to have them do it.

man, when i was 17 i did a 3.8 to 5.0 swap in my 95. i didnt know what the hell i was doing, but it ended up alright
