Default power window problem

Hi i'm a newbie to this site and need some help-my daughters 2000vert drivers side window won't move-I checked elec. conn. and there seems to be power to all the switch conn. but only makes a slight click that can be heard in the motor itself. I guess I'm going to buy a used motor and re-place it-here is my question-How do I get it out? I can see the two most obvious screws but when I take them out nothing else moves-there are no pics in the Haynes manual-is there another place on the net where I can look-thanks

There is probably a gear the is seamed with a sprocket that you will have to seperate. Sometimes those can be hard to pull apart. I had to do one in my dads truck and it was a pain also.

the weight of the window may be pressing down on the small gear on the motor so support the window with one hand and push up on it a little while twisting the motor loose and see if this get it off OK.
