The Saleen and FRPP superchargers are just fine.

The FRPP unit has no integrated air charge cooling or should I say heat exchanger.

The Saleen unit is a basic Eaton built with Saleen specific inlet and outlets.

Most people on this forum are dumbasses for complaining about Eatons being inefficient.

Does it take real rocket science to figure out that when a Eaton is designed to put out 10psi and you overdrive the **** out of it and see 20psi no **** it's going to heat up!

You're going to want to drop your compression ratio to run a lot of boost. Ideally, you'll want to run an 8:1 CR and increase the boost as much as your gas will allow.

To get that CR, you'll need a pretty good dish with the 4.6L's stroke. Time to look up some auto math and start crunching numbers....

jsut get a twin screw KB 2.2L, and buy forged no matter what. Its worth it in the long run and really no reason not too especially if you plan on nitrous and your obviously doing f/i

Just keep in mind that some kits are complete with a tune, fuel pump or booster and some leave it up to you.

Unless you have alot of time to spend on a dyno I would stick with a complete kit.

Thats exactly it! The eatons are decent blowers for low boost street cars but if you plan on going over 10psi then you need to look elsewhere. I'm only running mine with the stock 6psi pulley because i don't have my shortblock finished yet. Then i'll add the 9psi pulley and 100shot of juice.

If your gonna run PI heads then you need @ a 23cc dished piston. That should put you in the mid 8's compression wise which is good for a Roots/Twin Screw blower. I picked up mine from www.vtengines.com
