Default Test Drives

Today I got to drive a 2004 Neon Srt 4 and a 2004 Sti. These are quick 4cylinder cars. The STI would walk all over my 2003 GT but the neon felt slowest off the line but picked up a great deal on the highway(about even with the GT in quartermile in my opinion). The Sti would just throw you back and leave you there till about 60 where started to move more like the neon. I still like my 2003 Gt better because it feels like there is more surrounding you and as you drive it fast it just feels like a sports car. I'd pick an STI over my car if it was down to acceleration and traction. I'd pick a neon for everyday use. I pick a Mustang for all out sound, feel, and the ability to bark second and third without turbo lag. I think I'll stick to my Gt but my favorite so far is a 2004 Cobra since it pulls like a freight train and never slows down.

All fun cars though!

I'm not too worried, next year my volvo 240 will walk over my car, lol. I'd like to get the GT to run a 13 though 14.2 is the fastest it's went so far.

I raced a SRT-4 four times at the track friday and I dont think he ever hit the fourteens. I worked him over like he wasnt even there. I thought they would be faster than that. There were like four of them there racing and none of them were as impressive as people on here make them out to be.

I've seen srt-4 run 13.9 stock. Most drivers get about mid 14's like gt drivers. I've seen one srt-4 here turn 12.6. Fast little cars. Still can't beat the local 80's turbo dodges. One guy runs 11.2 with an Omni at 125mph and a turbo daytona 11.3 at 126mph. This weekend I will see a mid 10 second K car and a street driven mini van that turns low 12's with a 2.5 liter and no nos.

none of these cars run nos by the way. My brother will have a 11 second dodge spirit running 35lb of boost.
