4.10/4.30 gears, they dont add power, but they make it alot more fun to drive

congrats on your mustang. the new 3v is very responsive to mods. simple bolt-ons/gears/and a good drag radial will get them into the 12's in the 1/4 mile. as far as exhaust etc. it's best to get answers from people with first hand experience modding the s197 (05+) so ask in that section...here's the link and good luck

Long tube headers, new 3" exhuast mid pipe )either X or H) force mufflers from summit racing are good

I would get a Flowmaster cat-back system... they are fairly inexpensive, good quality, and give the Mustang the Mustang sound... If you want it a bunch louder, get an X-pipe with high flow cats. That will get you a little more HP as well... Don't expect much in the way of HP gains from an exhaust upgrade though, as it is not really a restriction in that air pump unit we call an engine...

how is it not a restriction?

the sn95s had 6 cats!!

after that 4!

i think taking 67% of the cats away would definatly loosen up power
