Drag Radials...
I can get some 295/35/18 BFG drag radials for the same price as the 285/35/18 Nitto 555's and about $50 less than the Nitto DR's.
How much faster will the drag radials make my ET's? What about streetability? I know their tread life is short, but how short?
Also, I'd love to have matching tires, but I couldn't afford BFG's on the front... Is it really worth it for a car that's going to the strip MAYBE twice a year and just racing ricers and other kids from my HS?
EDIT: Crap, I have more questions... What's the widest i can go on a 18x9" wheel? 275, 285, 295? What's the biggest that can fit under the car? I don't want to rub or replace any suspension items yet (can't afford it)
Thanks all!

RE: Drag Radials...
that's a very hard question to answer as it all depends on the wheel diameter, wheel width, wheel offset, wheel backspacing, and suspension mods if any were made to lower the car. whether or not you keep the outboard shocks on the rear also affect the the max size combo you can run on the rear too. generally, you can get by with wider combos in the rears since you don't have to worry about steering clearances like you do on the front end. best advice I have is to go talk to the guys at the nearest and best high performance tire shop, they will be able to give you some ideas of what will and won't fit.
