Default Pics of Damage

Below is the link to my previous post with pics pertaining to the damage I found while stripping down my stang. (Thanks guys for geting those pics up for me, I am still unsure how to do that) I wound up upgrading my internet connection after I posted so I didn't get to respond to any replies.

Thanks,

Looks like it was airborn at one time, I'm sorry to say but that stang is dead. That car shouldn't been fixed from that much damage, I have worked for a Ford body shop.

Hey Duff, since you worked in a body shop can you give me more specific info on the damage and what work might have been done to fix her up? Also, IYO could the car still be capable of better than average handling and performance with modifications? Is the frame the only thing I need to be aware of?

Soo many questions!
Soo many worries!

That car body is no good (only a point A to point B car, if you have to), the front shock tower is swiss cheese. That car just will not go staight It will not handle the same ever again. It's just so damaged in the back, who ever tried to fix it did there best with out replacing the front end and the back end. If I was you I would get another one to fix up, but thats me.

Well, you are most likely right, but I pray your not. My only two options are either to do what I can with the car or junk it and save for something better. We all know what the preffered route would be, however my current position in life might block that road. Only time will tell.

Thanks for the feedback!

Who cares about handling. every car has its little niche. just get used to launching in the lane next to you.
