RE: Fan switch Question?????
then just run a wire from the possitive terminal to a switch in the car. from there run a wire to the possitive wire on the fan and then hooked the negative fan wire to a good ground. most people use a thermometer so that the fan turns on automatically

RE: Fan switch Question?????
yeah to that, the switch should always be in the hot wire and will not have a ground wire coming from it as all it does is interrupt the current flow when it is in the off position. The fan motor itself does have to have a good ground connection though.

RE: Fan switch Question?????
Food for thought - fans draw a LOT of current, it's partially my fault but I had a toggle switch, I had my fans on all the time and I was wasting alternators left and right.
But, I believe Mustang's have a much higher amp than my sbc did.
